About Me

CURRENT MISSION
Learning to become self sufficient

ABOUT ME

I think I'm quite a laid back kind of guy and I'm pretty easy to get along with. I try to say yes to as many things as possible in life as I love new experiences. Sometimes it works out great and other times not so much but each time you learn something valuable. I'm trying to learn to live more lightly on this planet and to give something back too.

PHILOSOPHY

Still trying to work out the best way to be good to people and to the environment but I think Max Ehrman sums it pretty well

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Spreading the love and the word! Surfing and hosting!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfed in Poland, Germany, France, Belarus, Russia and Kazakhstan so far and met many amazing, generous people! The time is fast approaching when i will have a sofa and will be able to pay all this kindness back!

Interests

My goal in life is to become a jack of all trades, I want to be able to lend my hand to almost anything, not to be 'the best' at any one thing but to be able to rely on my own skills and to use them to help others. I am trying to learn all things wood at the moment, hand carving, carpentry, tree identification etc. I also really love music and listen a bit of everything , I also like to mess around on the guitar and pretend I might be good at it one day. I love gardening, particularly growing vegetables and everything else that goes along with living sustainably. I also really like scuba divingand think it's pretty mind blowing really, Jacques Cousteau is one of my greatest idols. Obviously, travelling is a big love too and I love hearing crazy travelling stories

Music, Movies, and Books

Constantly changing list but right now:
Book - Wild by Jay Griffiths
Film - Hunt for the Wilderpeople
Music - The Walking Who

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbed a mountain in India with no shoes

Teach, Learn, Share

I've just finished a course in permaculture so if you want some help designing sustainable eco friendly things I would be keen! I'm learning to juggle so I can teach a bit of that and some badly played guitar! But I'm also a none-too-shabby bartender so I can teach you how to make a pretty decent cocktail.
I want to learn anything you can teach me!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Just friendship and an interesting experience!
