ABOUT ME

I'm a big fan of dialog, so I'm not very good at soliloquies, especially about myself. I'm an avid reader and can generally be found with my nose in a book. I love to debate and play chess.I grew up in the paradoxical suburb of Mound Minnesota, where on one side of town was Trillium Bay with its J Gatsby style mansion parties, and on the other is B-Block and the heroin dens. I had friends from both sides of town. Growing up in such a segregated and deeply unequal environment has given me a unique perspective and has inspired me to become an economist--I want to use my knowledge change the world.I also enjoy martial arts, yoga, and running. The occasional anime is not out of the question either, though I'm by no means a connoisseur. I find neuroscience and psychology fascinating--what is it like to be another person?
