COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My roommate hosted a couple of couchsurfers. En plus when I went to France I was hosted by this highschooler though it wasn't real couchsurfing it has probably been the most similiar kind of experience. And well I've got to couchsurf in Finland a lot thanks to my lovely hospitable friends!

Ah I think I might live for movies. I love the escapismatory factor in movies. I try to watch all kind of movies although I think I might be having a kind of thriller/horror pause. And I can't watch many romantic comedies in a row cause I'm afraid of turning into a marshmallow... Gus Van Sant, Alejandro Gonzáles Iñárritu, David Fincher, Lars Von Trier, Hayao Miyazaki, Tim Burton's imaginative worlds, old classics, clever animation, compact and intelligent/fun short movies, indie movies, film festivals.

I have a very varied taste of music but I enjoy singer-songwriters and overall appreciate people and bands who make their own music unconditionally and with honesty and purity and such at least I like to think. I like funny noises and eccentric voices. Also I like to think there's the right time and place for almost all kind of music. Mostly I like it quite calm and folky/dreamy, but there's times when i really need to get some rock or screamo, even. You can find me on Last.fm http://www.last.fm/user/Sorry-oo . I also like listening to live music, it makes me feel a live a lso.

I try to read as much as I can but it's still not enough! I like Jostein Gaarder, Johanna Sinisalo, Philip Pullman's His Dark Materials, Neil Gaiman. I think I might be kind of an escapist with books too, it seems I don't like it too realistic though I don't only read fantasy/scifi-ish/children's books!

Climbed up a crane? Hmm. Wasn't that lame. I'm not really into extreme sports (yet) and I don't hold any world records :b

I think my strenghts are probably languages (hehe, anyone interested in learning Finnish?) and art stuff. I'd like to learn to cook really good. And well I'd like to learn to speak foreign languages more fluently and I'd really like to "learn to know new people".
