About Me

Hey there! I'm a friendly and open-minded guy who has been calling Warsaw home for the past 10 years. I enjoy the calm and thoughtful side of life but am always eager to step out of my comfort zone to meet new people and experience different cultures.

I'm happy to offer a quiet and comfortable space for travelers looking to explore the city.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe that the best way to truly understand a place is through its people. Couchsurfing is a great way to meet interesting individuals from all over the world and share experiences that leave a lasting impact.

Interests

I have a deep love for books, often immersing myself in a wide range of genres that challenge my perspectives and broaden my understanding of the world. Staying active is also important to me—I enjoy running and swimming, both of which help me stay fit and clear my mind. My work is a significant part of my life; I’m dedicated to human rights advocacy and work in the non-profit sector, where I strive to make a positive impact on society. While I'm not a frequent traveler, I do appreciate meaningful experiences and conversations with people from different backgrounds.

Music, Movies, and Books

In my downtime, I love watching witty and humorous TV shows that never fail to make me laugh. Some of my all-time favorites include The Office, Veep, Superstore, and Parks and Recreation.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most rewarding experiences in my life has been participating in marathons—I've completed seven so far! Running has taught me resilience and the value of persistence. Additionally, I’ve been involved in charity work for nearly five years, where I’ve had the privilege of teaching math and helping students adapt to life in a new country. Seeing them grow and succeed in their new environment has been incredibly fulfilling.

What I Can Share with Hosts

While I may not have much to offer in terms of material things, I believe that the best exchanges happen when there are no expectations. I’m simply grateful for the opportunity to connect and share experiences. I do have a sweet cat named Figa, who’s full of personality, and I hope you’ll grow to love her as much as I do.
