About me...

I feel like I started waking up around 10 years ago, and hit some kind of culmination 6 years ago after I had been living in Hawaii for 7 months. After basically accomplishing all of the things I'd wanted to do up to that age (living in Hawaii, travelling, work-trading on organic farms), I had this moment of profound emptyness.

I was standing in the middle of a lava field, asking God/Universe, what now?

What I heard was "drop all your attachments, get so really neutral- so neutral you could live on this Island for the next 55 years, or leave in 5 days, ask " how may I serve?", use your intuition, and go forward.

After several years of on and of travelling, having my intuition popped way open, finding clairvoyancy, opening up my singing voice, and very recently having a baby (now 4 months old), and being in one place a little bit too long, I'm starting to travel again.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've actually had several couchsurfing accounts before... but the gaps between them have been so long (between living in the jungle in Hawaii with no internet, and other such ventures,) that I have had to start completely over a few times!

I'm getting back into travelling after taking too long of a break. And, perhaps dipping my toes in the water. I've done a lot of travelling with vans, and am now starting to take my car on various shorter trips. My thinking is it'd be nice to travel with a bit of support, and couchsurf may help provide it. Also, once my apartment settles down, it may be a great place to host travelers.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music~

Our music (I'm very loosely part of a band), Bon Iver, Radiohead, The National, Nick Drake. I admit- I used to be more in the loop with music, and after living somewhere without internet or electricity for a while, I learned to sing and haven't fully gotten back in the loop. Fortunately Minneapolis has the coolest radio station, (called the current) they keep me looped in.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to cook. Specifically vegetarian cooking. Also, I'm an unlicensed body~ worker. I'm a sponge for everything I've ever learned, and all the work that's been done with me. I would love to start working with more/other body~work professional to teach and learn.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Vegetarian cooking, intuitive field work, presence, body~work. And, I'm always really joyful to help out with whatever, wherever I'm staying.
