I'm a 30 year old engineer that works in the army at their headquarters in Evere.
I studied both in Leuven and in Brussel. At the KULeuven and the Royal Military Academy respectfully.

I speak fluent English and Dutch. My French and German are also pretty good .
I don't smoke (apart from an occasional cigar).

I'm a quiet and respectful guy. I've learned in the army to live in close groupes and to take care of one another.
I also really like to chat about life over a beer or a cocktail.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

By sharing my couch I hope to invite some adventures into my life!
My primary drive however is to bring some good into the world. I want to give all sorts of people the chance to discover the world on a budget and confirm that there is more in life that binds us together, than that holds us apart.

I hope that the people I welcome find a way to pay these good vibes forward.

Interests

Over the years I've done a lot of sports. Rugby has always been my favorite

For the moment I mostly go running, do Krav Maga and crossfit. On sundays I go mountainbiking with my dad.

I've traveled to over 30 countries and been deployed twice. I also enjoy drives on my motorbike.

I've studied both mechanical and constructional engineering. I also build a compound in Congo and an airport in Jordan. I dare to say I'm quite handy and can fix most technical problems that arise.

I've quite often repaired small problems on the motorcycles or cars of the couchsurfers that visited me.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I like to talk about world politics. As a military man we have a unique perspective on these things.
I also really like to have these concepts challenged by people with another set of ideas.
