About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to study international cultures, incorporate the positives of their lifestyles into mine and share it with the world

ABOUT ME

Currently I am a Software Engineer in San Francisco living with my fiancé, but my old profile still applies for the most part :-)

I am a traveling rockclimber/ scuba instructor / slackliner / firedancer. I am very easy going, social and respectful.

I have been living in Thailand seasonally for the last 5 years in a rockclimbing mecca called Tonsai. Outside of the season I have traveled all over SE-Asia, Central America, and the Mediterranean/Middle-East.

I am really into doing anything outdoors and trying new things. I am obsessed with backgammon, and love good beer. I also have a passion for science and technology

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The only thing harder than figuring out where to start, is figuring out where to end.

Maybe this will give you some idea:

One time I was trying to win a contest to spin fire poi in the most extreme location possible. I was living in Mexico at the time in a rockclimbing campground. I climbed about 400 meters to the very tip of a spire, and had another friend climb the adjacent spire with a camera. I free climbed to the very top, set up some minor protection. Lit the poi on fire and starting to weave. The top point of the spire was so narrow, I had to straddle the rock with my legs. The next day we set up a high-line between the two spires and walked across.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can promise lots of stories to share ranging from crazy, exciting, and/or funny. As well as any skills relating to adventure travel, rockclimbing, or underwater activities.

If you have any sort of technical, science, or political background of any sort. I would really like to pick your brain.
