I'm typing for my friend (ps I'm a foreign English teacher in Jinan).

Emily is such a sweetheart, she has been so incredibly kind to my friends and I. She is so welcoming to foreigners in her city, Jinan. She speaks English pretty well but it helps speaking clearly and slowly with added descriptions always helps make any point clear.

She runs a small, private English school for chinese students (younger children) out of her apartment. Please let her know if your interested at all in volunteering even for just one class (about 1 hour), the children are so cute and energetic!! If you have any children's books in English that you wish to donate to her school, she would absolutely love that so much!! Its a bit difficult to get children's books in english in Jinan so if you have a book or two that you would like to donate it would be very much appreciated by Emily and her students :)

Emily loves to chat, cook traditional chinese food, make traditional chinese tea ceremony for her guests!! So nice to hangout with her and relax. You can ask for any help whether its setting up an uber cab or directions or where to go shopping/general attractions. She's a very nice, cool lady she really likes to have a calm, relaxing, and peaceful home envirnment. She enjoys reading the bible and praying before eating any meals but doesn't mind if you are not Christian. Please be respectful and kind to her. She really will share anything with you if you are hungry or need to borrow a jacket she wil give it to you! She can help you use Chinese apps such as WeChat and if you already have it you can request her as a friend on it. Her WeChat id is Qing17357 you can text her directly on it and send her voice messages if you like. She has tons of cute pics on her profile there as well. And her wifi is pretty good!! :) She also has a piano at her apartment if you want to play a tune :) And if you want to learn how to cook traditional Chinese food or learn some Chinese words or phrases she can teach you :)

She also has a washing machine if you ask her kindly I'm sure she wil let you use it. Her apartment is located in an awesome location right in the middle of the city. So convenient its near several bus stations and super safe area.
