I am currently an independent researcher and I am going to pursue my PhD degree in sociology in the United States since this fall. Recently, I just finished my one-year field work in Australia. I used to be a researcher and social worker in an NGO in Guangzhou, China. I am also a member of the Asian Association of Women’s Studies, where I make broad networks with feminists who come from countries in Asia and Africa. My research interests focus on gender and migration, especially concerning the female migrants in China and abroad. Areas of interest: Gender, migration, civil society.
