ABOUT ME
Hi. My name is Cleo and I'm a British-American born and part-raised in Britain, moved to the US when I was 8, and now I've been back for 9 years (still haven't lost the accent though). I'm also a Quaker, transgender, a huge geek, not as mobile as I used to be but still an amateur adventurer when I can be. I like to have a good time. Y'know.
Other than that, well, I try to remain flexible.
Also, please don't be alarmed if I don't give you a reference after having friended you/met you; I'm trying to only give references to people I've hosted or who have hosted me. Thanks!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Have hosted and been hosted many times. Also, evangelized about it to friends and people in hostels. I'm going to get verified at some point...
visited 14 states (6.22%)Create your own visited map of The World or another interesting project
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have hosted three people in Oxford, one person in Belfast, six people in Edinburgh and part-hosted two people in Oberlin; and been hosted by people in London, Glasgow, Barcelona, Edinburgh, Dublin, and Belfast so far (I may be forgetting others...), and I've been to meetups in various places, and part of the Belfast couchsurfing group. It really does change the way you live if you let it.
Interests
Always interested in trying new things. I'd like to try out amateur dramatics again sometime soon.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Worked as a movie/TV background actor, lived on a commune for a month, investigated election fraud in Ohio, participated in a seance and a Vodun ritual, become a Quaker, practiced reiki, met people who survived Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans, spun that wheel sculpture thing by Marcel Duchamp while the museum guards weren't looking because I wanted to know if it spins (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bicycle_Wheel). Oops, that's more than one thing.
