ABOUT ME

Although I was born in California, I was raised in Mexico. I'm a former U.S. Navy sailor, that never sailed..lol..I was a hospital corpsman always at shore. I'm now a full time student, studying abroad 2009-2010 in Korea. Other than my educational goals and ambition, I usually don't have plans, I just go with the flow, wherever life takes me.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't surfed yet, but I'm looking forward to it. I plan to make numerous trips this 2009, and meet interesting people along the way.

I like the outdoors, camping, fishing and getting muddy. I'm not a fan of sand & salt water..i prefer going to the lake or a river. I like horseback riding, rollercoasters, painting, singing, dance, reading, films, poetry & literature.

I like international movies, especially Bollywood films and old Mexican movies (Cantinflas, Pedro Infante, Clavillazo, Capulina) . My favorite American movies, would have to have...Sandra Bullock, Meg Ryan, Angelina Jolie, Julia Roberts, Denzel Washington, or Nicolas Cage

My music collection speaks for itself,I like almost everything except heavy mean, angry metal: Ray Conniff, Glenn Miller, Frank Sinatra, Billy Joel, Eric Clapton, The Beatles, Elton John, Linkin Park, Blink 182, Puddle of mud, Green day, Bob Marley, ACDC, Eminem, Nelly, J Lo, CCR, Akon, Sean Paul, Missy Elliott, Phish, Gypsy Kings, Lionel Richie, Keith Sweat, Gwen stefani, The Doors, Cold Play, Creed, Nickelback, Matchbox 20, Garth Brooks, George Strait, Tim Mcgraw, Alan Jackson, Benny Benassi, Tiesto, Basshunters, Cascada, David Guetta, Ne-Yo, Kanye, Pitbull, The Dream...and anything spanish in between.....I'm sure you got the idea.

My all time favorite books growing up were by Jules Verne, but mostly all Latin american literature or poetry: Gabriel Garcia Marquez,Federico Garcia Lorca, Juan Rulfo, Octavio Paz, Gustavo A. Becquer, Pablo Neruda, Juana de Ibarborou, Rosario Castellanos, Fernandez de Lizardi, Manuel Acuna, Ramon Lopez Velarde, Sor Juana Ines de la Cruz, Ruben Dario, Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra, etc.

My Favorite: Quiero ser en tu vida algo mas que un instante,algo mas que una sombra y algo mas que un afan. Quiero ser en ti mismo una huella imborrable, un recuerdo constante y una sola verdad.
