About Me
Hello!
I grew up in the San Francisco - Bay Area, but I've moved to San Luis Obispo to study Industrial Engineering at Cal Poly.
I've adopted by school's motto of "learn by doing", but more importantly and recently, "learn by going"! Which is why I intend to experience the world first hand.
Currently, I am on exchange at Hochschule München, and looking to explore the nooks and crannies of Germany!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'd like to meet locals and get to see how they navigate their cities. However, above all, I'd like to see their culture from their perspective.
I usually stay in hostels, but they're sometimes not as social (beyond a "usual" after a while) and miss out on immersive experiences with locals.
Interests
Indoors: Electronics/gadgets, video games, electronic music/festivals, and debate (philosophy, social critiques), tea/coffee, exotic foods, space-exploration and terrestrial transportation.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Electronic music! I've recently gotten into the festival scene and hope to attend future festivals, especially ones in Europe.
Cinema: Have been, and always will be, a fan of Sci-fi. Star Wars, Dark Knight trilogy, and Marvel Cinematic Universe. Also, I have a soft spot for Disney and Pixar films! However, it has been a while since I've seen a film.
Books: Harry Potter series and had begun A Song of Ice and Fire. Swisswatching is a new favourite and a book I've finally read in a long time.
TV shows: New Girl, Silicon Valley, Breaking Bad/Better Call Saul, The Flash, Arrow, The Walking Dead, Marvel Agent's of SHIELD, Daredevil, Game of Thrones, Sherlock, Mythbusters, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Orange Is the New Black, Star Wars: the Clone Wars. - Currently working through Dexter.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've completed nearly all the panoramic trains in Switzerland during my semester exchange in Luzern, my 4/5 exchange programme.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm awful with names and particularly song names, but I'm more than happy to exchange music and my current interests :) keep discovering more!
Also, I'm more than happy to share how to travel and live in the West coast (Best coast!). California is entirely different from the rest of the States, so hopefully I can show you how awesome of a state it is.
I'm fascinated to know about your language, dialects, regional culture, and what makes your place interesting!
