About Me

Hello and welcome to my profile! I am Lithuanian, 20 years old, graduated high school in 2017 and exploring myself and the world since then. I decided not to study anything mainly because of being not sure about what to choose exactly and didn't want to make a mistake and regret it afterwards. So, have been working in a few places, traveled a bit around the world, mainly with Erasmus+ program. In fact, that is what I am doing right now - an EVS volunteering program in Bulgaria, Stara Zagora for 6 months! Working with kids, teaching them English in a non-formal way, as well as doing online radio shows and scanning very old books (saving history! ;) ). Having an awesome time here.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I love meeting new people from all over the world, explore their cultures, not only see what kind of hotels or motels their countries have (the same everywhere), but admire it from the inside, see how people actually live. Couchsurfing is probably the best way to do so if you don't have any relatives or friends there. I have used the platform once already with my girlfriend (we used her account) and it was awesome! After that, I decided to create a profile also.

Music, Movies, and Books

My music mostly depends on the mood I am in. Not a fan of metal, hard rock and similar things, leaning more towards calm and indie music ;)
I like many movie genres, can point out some of the favorites - Shawshank redemption, Hobbit saga, Prestige, Inception.
Not a big fan of books right now, but loved reading fantasy ones, Eragon (Inheritance cycle) was a favorite.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Adopted a small kitten that was left alone on the street, took care of her for a few months and then found her a new home.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you:
- Some card games
- How to be a pirate on the internet
- Playing computer games
- Make a delicious burger (used to work at a fast food place)
- Light a campfire!

I would love to learn:
- Say a few words in your language
