ABOUT ME

I live on 5 peaceful, beautiful acres on an island paradise of approx. 5000 people. It's a great community. I'm involved in a local singing group, theatre group, photography club, and many community committees. I love playing tennis,biking, hiking, foreign films, live theatre, gardening, feeding wild birds and butterflies, swimming in the ocean and lakes, lying in warm sunshine and having new experiences. I am very easygoing, broadminded, love meeting folks from other parts of the world and enjoy life tremendously! I have travelled only to Belize, Yukon, Mexico, across Canada and around US coast. I want to do more of this but haven't met a millionaire yet so want to support organizations like Couchsurfing so travel is more available to all of us.

At the moment, I feel all I can do is encourage other folks to join. I thought it was only for the very young until I found out this is not so--so I'm passing the word.

None so far in terms of myself travelling, but I have hosted folks through other similar organizations.
