Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I got introduced to couch surfing when I went and spent a week in Argentina on a friend's couch (well, really their guest bed). I met one of their couch surfers and think it's a fantastic idea. I've had a few people come stay with me, and stayed with a couple other folks. Most of my travel recently has been funded, or near friends/family, so I haven't used it a whole lot.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have done the AIDS LifeCycle (biking from SF to LA in a week) a couple times. That amazed me, but even more so, I've gone from being a rather sedentary person to people calling me "athletic" (ha!).

Teach, Learn, Share

We've been taking cooking classes at a local cooking school - if you could teach us about food from your home location, that would be awesome. We can share what we've learned about food in return, or you can ask us about mechanical engineering.
