About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To discover what I wish to do with my life while diving into the great wide world for unlimited adventures

ABOUT ME

A bumbling traveller type who has been tied down in the same city for too long and whats to explore again.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Although I've participated in the coach surfing network its never been through my own account. I've lived with couch surfers who've invited others to come and stay. I have also traveled with other couch surfers through who I gained places to stay and new friends and experiences. I think maybe its time to finally get into this all myself

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I used to live in a house that constantly had couch surfers staying. It was nice to always have new faces around, to drag along to mad parties or to show the quieter sides of the city to. We liked a few of them so much that they ended up moving in permanently.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like to read but often I find the hectic side of life gets in the way. When traveling I find I read the most.
Music on the other hand I always manage to make time for. I like to listen to a variety of sounds depending on my mood - it ranges from Techno to folkpunk to hiphop. I also like playing music. I used to be part of a busking collective but since I lost the other 2 to further adventures I have been less musically creative. I recently acquired an electric ukulele though and am hoping to trial it more in the not too distant future.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have many amazing memories that I like to dwell on when life is getting me down. Here are a few:
- hosting a 24 hour pirate radio marathon from a squatted attic in a forest in France
- dancing to dancehall beside giant speaker stacks at a free party in Treasure beach, Jamaica
- Jamming with fellow musicians on a rooftop in Lisbon as we overlooked the night time city below
- being put up for the night by petrol station attendants in rural Portugal who took pity on us trying to unsuccessfully hitchhike and let us sleep in their petrol station and drink and eat all the food we could want for.

Infact I have many happy hitchhiking stories that could warm even the coldest heart into having a restored faith in humanity. Maybe I'll tell you some more one day

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you to juggle? For the last year I have been working with small children so I am very good at teaching nursery rhymes and I also have magnificent toilet training skills.

I'm also happy to share cooking and baking skills
