Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am exploring the world to learn about the vast variety of cultures our planet hosts. I would love to go beyond just being a tourist by engaging in dialogues with the locals and learning how the they live. In return, I hope to provide a good friendship and will be willing to share my adventures as well as provide suggestions for travelers to my homeland, USA. Ideally, making new friends around the world isn't such a bad idea!

I was once an English as a Foreign Language teacher at a university in Vietnam, so I can help you practice your English.

I grew up in Hawaii, so I can share the Hawaiian culture and teach you a hula! I am also well-acquainted with the American culture (including business and leadership culture).

Moreover, I studied Japanese for over ten years and grew up in a Vietnamese household so I know a thing or two about these cultures and foods as well.
