Overview
About Me
A nomad
A third-culture kid
Received formal schooling in China, Singapore, US, UK and Switzerland
Explorer, story-collector, and an amateur in almost everything
Travel to challenge my own presumptions and perspectives
Love new experiences; detest boredom; deep antipathy towards mediocrity
Always hoping to make a difference in others' life and to the world in general...idealistic, but grounded in reality
Cold-bloodedly rational yet helplessly whimsical. Interestingly self-contradictory and unexpectedly predictable to similar souls
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My best moments of traveling so far come from personal interactions. I love to collect people's stories and feel a place through a humane lens. I love cultural exchange and enjoy meeting interesting people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Can't be one:
Meditated in Chinese mountains without any form of communication for ten days (no talking, writing, eye contact etc), lived with a religious cult in the US (almost got converted...), WWOOFed and tried raw-food lifestyle, worked at a homeless women shelter in Boston last summer, studied atomic bomb in Japan, helped built house via Habitat for Humanity, helped run soup kitchen for migrant workers in Singapore
