I have just recently joined, but I plan on getting involved as soon as possible. My first order of business has been to offer driving services to those who need to travel through California as I travel extensively for film.

Music, Movies, and Books

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind because it's ending isn't overly optimistic. Any action flick from the 90's because of cheesy one-liners, solid script structures, and practical effects. Science Fiction because it's one of the last frontiers for questioning what it means to be human. Kubrick, because it's Kubrick. Superheroes because it's a new kind of mythology that talks about our future vs. our past.

I can't wait until this category includes video games or games that have influenced you because games are how we learn about the world and interactivity is who we are.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once drove an old, homeless woman who called herself "Duck" to San Francisco for chemotherapy. We spent six hours discussing the 20th century. Harry Belafonte tried to kill her in the 40's.
