About Me
ABOUT ME
I've always had the travel bug for as long as I can remember. I also enjoy making music (I play instruments and try to write songs and stuff) and board sports (skating, snowboarding, trying to learn surfing). I love meeting cool people who are genuine and developing relationships with people from all walks of life.
PHILOSOPHY
Travel is a state of mind that can be applied to all aspects of life, even when you're still technically at "home." it makes no difference if you never even leave your home town, life is still a journey that we all must endure whether we like it or not, the only destination being death (which is probably just another part of the trip) and in that sense we're all travelers.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Pretty much down for whatever.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
So far the only experience I've had was in Indonesia, where I met up with a couple fellow couchsurfers in Ubud through an activities group that one of them had created, and we proceeded to adventure all around Bali and Lombak/ Gili's together on motorbikes in a little bike gang, calling ourselves "The Unicorns from Hell." It was pretty sweet. I await the day when I'll have the opportunity to either crash at someone's pad or host someone at mine in Portland, Oregon.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I once went skateboarding on the banks of the holy ganges river in Varanasi with a crowd of about forty indians cheering me on while I watched the smoke from burning bodies rise up across the horizon as the sun set.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you: how to play a variety of musical instruments (drums, guitar, piano, harmonica, freestyle rapping). I'd like to learn: how to play more instruments!
