To meet as many people as possible while exploring Europe for the first time! I would also like to learn more about various cultures that exist outside of the United States.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that when life gives you lemons, you should make whatever the heck you want! There's no perfect way or formula for living life, therefor people should trust their own instincts and live life accordingly. I really believe I learn the most from my experiences by taking life by the reigns and figuring my way out. Life is entirely too short to worry about "correctness" and perfection. Thus, trail and error is the best teacher there is in life, so the next time you get an opportunity to do something you've never done before and/or don't know how to do it, just do it! You'll figure it out sooner than later :)

I am looking for my first couchsurfing experience this summer. I have heard great things from my friends and would live to get a taste of CS myself!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love pretty much any type of movie except for "chick flicks" and Westerns. I'm a big kid so I still enjoy watching all of the Walt Disney classics that were released when I was growing up. My favorite Disney films are Aladdin and The Lion King. Two of my favorite other "kid" movies are Matilda and Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (Gene Wilder version). I'm a HUGE Pirates of the Caribbean fan! I love all X-Men, Spiderman, Batman, etc movies. I like several Sci-Fi films. I enjoy thrillers as well. I recently got into indie films and would love to watch a few while abroad.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Just a week ago I saw the Eiffel Tower for the first time. It was amazing. More specifically, I got to see 'Tour Eiffel' on France's Independence Day (Bastille Day)!!

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to teach more people about Black American History as it is never fully or accurately told in public schools in America. I would love to continue learning Arabic. I also want to learn other languages, and I want to learn how to make my own jewelry, grow my own vegetables, crochet and many other DIY activities. I would love to share my passion for social justice with other like-minded people.
