Lived in a very plain city until Fall 2014, when I followed my dream of moving to Florida. At the age of 22, I packed all my belongings into a tiny 5x8 uhaul trailer and left whatever didn't fit. At the time I didn't know about CS and wasn't sure if I'd be able to secure a place when I arrived, but I KNEW I was coming regardless! Luckily I was able to find a nice home just before I left home.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

1) Leaving my hometown where I knew everyone and moving to a place where I knew no one left me feeling a little empty, I want to meet new people and make friends.
2) The adventurous CS members and their travel experiences fuel my desire to travel more.
3) I'd like to travel more and meet like-minded people. I'd like to stop talking about traveling and start traveling! I've taken the first step and want to keep the momentum going. Update: So far so good, because I'm going to Japan!

Interessen

Have an unexplainable urge to see California and Japan.
Have always been fond of cars, both old and new.
Recently taken an interest in vintage bicycles and mountain biking.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I came across two mothers, each with their child, who were locked out of their mini van. They'd apparently been trying to get inside for quite some time and not one person had stopped to help them. I was able to help them unlock the door without breaking the glass, and get them out of the summer heat. They were so thankful, and even if just for that moment, nothing feels better than having someone tell you that you're their hero!
