About Me

CURRENT MISSION

try to follow the "carpe diem" motto, meet people, do my best

ABOUT ME

I was born in 1979. I've pretty much spent all my life in the western part of France (Brittany and Vendée). I would say I'm rather quiet, open minded, always interested in discovering new people, new countries, new landscapes, different ways of living and so on. I like my job, I love to travel, I can say I'm happy and I hope it will last.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hosted my 1st CS in July 2009 for 5 days (Piibe, a lady from Estonia), the 2d one in September '09 for 2 days (Edouard, a guy from Canada)
the 3rd one was a french woman (Julie) who stayed 8 days in hJanuary and February 2010
the 4th CS was Jose Luis, a spanish man (3 days), also in February 2010
n° 5 was Shay (or Seamus), a british cyclist who stayed overnight on his way south in June 2010
Emilie and Tade (n°6 and 7) spent 2 days at home in August 2010
Athénaïs, a french student, and her sister Elodie (n°8 and 9) stayed also 2 days in September 2010
Helen and her boyfriend Mike (n°10 and 11) stayed overnight in november 2010
Géraldine, from France, was the 12th CS at my place (4 days) in Spring 2011
Regi, from San Diego (CA, USA), who hosted me in march 2009, stayed 2 days at my apartment in July 2011; therefore, she is n°13
I also hosted another CS in October 2011, but it was a very bad experience, so that's why I didn't host for a long time.
After quite a long period of time without hosting, Martin, from France, was the fifteenth CSer to stay at my home, during summer 2014.
I really intend to continue : I'd like to host as much as I was hosted !

several great experiences in SW USA (AZ, NM) in 2008, but also in CA, AZ, NV, OR in 2009
one experience in Germany
several positive experiences in Denmark in June 2009, in the Balkans (mostly Albania and Macedonia-FYROM) in september 2009
several amazingly positive CS experiences in New Zealand in March 2010
I met 4 really nice people in Madeira in May 2010 thru CS
I have been able to meet 5 lebanese and 3 syrian CSers in september 2010
I cs once in Scotland in June 2011
I CS twice in England in May 2013
I CSed in March 2014 in Huningue in France, close to Basel city in Switzerland
I met three CSers in May 2014 in the beautiful Faroe Islands
I had the great luck to be hosted by 4 different CSers in June 2014 in wonderful Greenland
I was wonderfully hosted in Almaty, Kazakhstan in June 2015
