About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To live life as one big, beautiful adventure.

ABOUT ME

Among other things, I'm a travel addict, professional yacht crew, fitness enthusiast, foodie and DJ. My last job was that of competent crew aboard a 105-year old schooner based in Port Townsend, Washington.

PHILOSOPHY

"All paths lead to nowhere. Therefore, pick a path with heart." - Don Juan, The Teachings of Don Juan, Carlos Castaneda

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I can't host right now [due to a nomadic lifestyle], thus am currently solely looking to surf and meet cool people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first CouchSurfing experience was with Victor Irzak. I stayed with him for two weeks between Aug 17-31st 2013 while I was relocating from Ottawa to Toronto, Canada and looking for a place to live. After that my CouchSurfing experience stalled until Nov 2014 when I surfed Italy and Greece for 1.5 months with my friend Cat Natale.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books by Alexandre Dumas, Carlos Castaneda and self development writers like Napoleon Hill are my favorite. I'm a sucker for comedy, crime, documentaries, horror, mysticism and classic Russian filmography.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I sailed with my father on a 32' Westerly Longbow from Southampton, UK to Halifax, Canada, through Spain, Portugal and Bermuda. The voyage was over 5000 nautical miles in length and took three months. It was one of the most memorable experiences of my life.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love discussing and offering my perspective on cultural differences, electronic music, occultism, sailing, spirituality and travel.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Great company. Lots of interesting, fun and funny life stories. Make killer Eggs Benny! Teach Russian and how to DJ.

Countries I’ve Visited

Bermuda, Bulgaria, Canada, Finland, Italy, Mexico, Portugal, Russian Federation, Spain, Trinidad and Tobago, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

Canada, Estonia, United Kingdom
