ABOUT ME

1. Hi! I'm Alyona.
2. I come from Russia. I have vodka in my blood, and yes, a pet bear, too.
3. In the second grade a boy from my class kissed me. I was scandalized.
4. I can't snap my fingers.
5. Everything Classic/Old School/Vintage is my weakness.
6. I have the simplest tastes. I am always satisfied with the best.
7. Addicted to coffee and gelato.
8. I love children. I have always, always, always had a soft spot in my heart for children. As a kid, any child that was smaller than me was at serious risk of being picked up, cuddled, and cared for all day long if I was around.
9. I usually start my day with having a mini-dance party/lip sync in front of my mirror.
10. I can’t believe I just put that on the internet. Just forget that... all right?
11. I’m very old fashioned when it comes to matters of the heart. I love old-school chivalry.
12. Best friends are hard to find because the best ones are already mine.
13. The most beautiful song I’ve ever heard? “Belle” by Garou, Daniel Lavoie and Patrick Fiori.
14. Destiny is for losers. It's just a stupid excuse to wait for things to happen instead of making them happen.
15. I always try to choose people that are better than me. People that challenge me, and are smarter than me. I always try to be the student.
16. I'm friendly and open. I'm shy at first, but once you get to know me I won't shut up.
18. Love everything Gossip Girl related, and if you don’t like Chuck and Blair we can’t be friends.
19. I'm either obsessed with things or not interested at all.

23. I always exaggerate a little. It's a part of my charm.
24. Notre-Dame de Paris is the best book ever written in any language anywhere at any time. And Victor Hugo is the King of world literature.
25. The only movie genre I will never watch is horror. It'’s incredibly easy to freak me out, I'm a huge baby when it comes to scary movies.
26. If you were to ask me what my favorite movie is I would probably say The hundred-foot journey.
27. I will never get tired of movies or books I truly love. It takes lots of time before I get over it, that is why it's hard for me to find and explore a new good read or a movie.
28. I'm vulnerable and sensitive. I take everything too close to heart.
29. I don't like talking about my feelings/problems. I like to keep things to myself and figure them out myself. I don’t know, that's just me.
30. I also don’t like to share my personal life. It wouldn’t be personal if I shared it.
31. Hills in the sunset, olive groves, lemon trees, white wine, sophisticated fashion, dolce vita, Italian language and raven-haired people. Italy is the idea of my paradise. You may have the universe if I may have Italy.
32. I always have scenarios running through my head. And I’ve already chosen my future children’s names.
33. I’m passionate about dresses, lace, jewelry and everything elegant, grace and feminine.
34. When I was little, I wanted to be The Little Mermaid and fall in love with a prince.
35. I'm not a stop along the way, I'm a destination.
36. Hopeless Nutella-, Kinder-, macaroons- and chocoholic.
37. I'm an unbelievable perfectionist when it comes to... everything.
38. «Marshmallow» and «Nonsense» are my favorite words.
39. Why, cause I'm cool.
40. My favorite colors are rich burgundy, deep crimson, champagne, old lace, classy black and baby blue.
41. The best scent in the world? Men's perfume, newborn babies and books.
42. People say I have long eyelashes.
43. I love good dinner and wine, flowers, coffee with a croissant in the morning, watching sunset, nice talks... I find pleasure in small things.
44. I feel like I was born in the wrong century. My biggest dream is to go back to the time of balls and ellaborate gowns, of horse carriages and aristocratic mannerisms and men, aloof and chivalric.
45. I always paint a little star on my hand when I need to remember things.
46. Monica Bellucci and Grace Kelly are canons of beauty to me. Nothing to take and nothing to add. Flawless.
