I grow up in Hong Kong. I graduated from college major in Biology and minor in Psychology in 2015. I had been working in Germany for biology research for 3 months in 2014 through an exchange program. The experience I had in Europe changed my life. I want to further explore the world by understanding different cultures.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe interacting with the locals is the best way to understand a country and its culture. Couchsurfing would allow me to understand the locals' lifestyle and hopefully know more about their life. I come from a busy metropolitan. Living in a big city is stressful and career choices are narrow. Getting to know peoples' life in other countries would open up my mind and discover more possibilities in my life. I wish to make as many friends as I could around the world. One day, I want to offer my friends back an opportunity to understand my hometown.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I traveled alone in Europe which was the first time I left Asia and the first trip I planned. Working in Germany without knowing German but still tried very hard to adapt to the working environment and got along well with colleagues.

I can teach English, biology and Chinese (in mandarin or Cantonese). I want to learn German and Spanish. I am willing to share about my Hong Kong life, my travel experience, exchange experience and Chinese cooking skills.
