Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

Got started on CS a couple years ago and have mostly met up with local CSers, but have done a little surfing of my own. I've had nothing but great experiences overall! Stayed in Brooklyn, Savannah, GA, and Napa Valley with wonderful, gracious hosts.

As far as books go, I'm really into historical fiction/extrapolations on historical events. My all time favorite has to be Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil - which came to life for me while couchsurfing in Savannah! I'm open to all types of movies, except ones that involve pets dying... just can't handle that. And as for music, I am very open, but tend to gravitate toward angry girls/soft-spoken guys with acoustic guitars.

Just one thing?! If I had to narrow it down, it would be that I've met the Dalai Lama. By "met" I mean I shook his hand. It was a magical moment.
