ABOUT ME
Our names are Sonsoles and Iván and we are a Spanish couple. I (Sonsoles) am the most active part of the couple regarding couchsurfing, so I will describe myself first and then I will describe Iván.
I am a very social person, I am optimistic and very active. I like learning new things, sizing the opportunities that life brings me. I love learning new languages and practicing them. I like most sports. I discovered yoga last year and I practice it three times a week now! No need to say that I love travelling and I try to make a trip every time I can. I love spending time with my family, my friends and specially my boyfriend Iván, whom I share my life with.
Iván likes sports, music, movies and videogames. He loves both watching and playing football. He enjoys pretty much all types of music and he is learning to play guitar. He also likes going to the cinema, cooking and meeting his friends.
PHILOSOPHY
Enjoy every moment of your life, try to reduce your negative impact in the environment, recycle and reuse, try to make people around you happier...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
We heard of CS from a friend and we inmediately thought that it was a great initiative and that we would like to be a part of it. Actually, we already have a lot of experience in hosting friends and surfing in friends´couches since we live in Denmark, so we thought "let´s make it official!"

Music, Movies, and Books
Books are one of my passions. I tend to prefer historical novels and travelling literature:
- City of Joy (Dominique Lapierre)
- The Cry of the Kalahari (Owens)
- Tuesdays with Morrie (Mitch Albom)
- Wild Swans: Three Daughters of China (Jung Chang)
- Thousand Splendid Suns and The Kite Runner(Khaled Hosseini)
I love films as well, but preferably non science-fiction or horror movies:
- La vita e bella (Roberto Benigni)
- The Pursuit of Happyness (Gabriele Muccino)
- Mi vida sin mí (Isabel Coixet)
- Away from Her (Sarah Polley)
For music, I am open to many different styles and I enjoy classical music, jazz, pop and rock depending on the situation and my mood. I also love African music, latin music and Balkan music for dancing and partying.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Everything you do in life can be amazing depending on your spirit and your way of experience life.
Travelling is always an amazing experience and every single trip that we have made has been simply amazing in its own way.
Wild camping in Botswana is probably on of the most thrilling experiences of our life.
Recently, our biggest adventure has been travelling non-stop for five months in Asia. Truly amazing!!
