我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

When I lived in Canada for a couple of months in 2008, I was able to meet great, open and friendly people through CS a couple of times, and I really appreciated having that in a new city.

In the future I really hope to move to a bigger apartment (right now I share a one bedroom flat with a friend) so that I can host too.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm quite the newbie, I haven't surfed apart from that one time in Montreal, but then I was lucky enough to find my great host by following the sound of drums playing and ending up in a street festival..! Never through the website (yet!) though.

Lots! Seeing good live music, theatre, having passionate discussions, cooking, eating, writing, meeting new people - as I said, lots! :)

I travelled around Israel a couple of years ago and at one point wandered around in the desert, sat down in what looked like the middle, beginning or end of nowhere end spent the day with nothing but a notepad and a pen. It was beyond words.
