I'm a person who always gets excited about the smallest things. I absolutely love travelling and discovering new places and interesting people and the stories behind them. I have many interests as well raging from philosophy, politics and documentary to music as both an active player (piano, guitar) and an enthusiast always listening to something.

I study journalism, media and economics at the Masaryk University in Brno in Czech Republic, but currently I am in Istanbul for one semester of Erasmus program and I would like to discover the whole country, because I know Turkey is a lot more than just Istanbul...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to meet new people and this is a great way to do it. Not only by accommodating people but also by talking to them, gettint to know them personally, but also something interesting about their country, their culture...

I'd be happy to give anyone a tour around our small town of Roznov, where I come from. There are some nice things to see here. During summer break, I stay in Roznov with my parents, but there is a spare room since my brother doesn't live here anymore. During schoolyear, there's always a free bed or a couch in Brno, where I study and live with a couple of friends in a rented appartement.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

This year was my first CS experience when me and my gf went to the Netherlands for a couple of days and stayed in three citites with three different hosts, they were all such lovely and kind people that I immediately told myself I have to start being more active around couchsurfing, because it's really worth it :)

My most favourite movie ever is Forrest Gump, it's just the best :)
I'm a real music enthusiast.. I mostly listen to modern songs and bands, expecially classic rock bands of the 60s and 70s, I play this sort of music with my friends in a band.

Favourite music artists: Chuck Berry, Jerry Lee Lewis, Elvis Presley, Little Richard, The Beatles, Rolling Stones, The Who, The Hives, AC/DC, Status Quo, Franz Ferdinand, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Pink Floyd.
I hate to admit it, but I don't read very much, but if I do read I enjoy fantasy novels such as J.R.R.Tolkien's Lord of the Rings or Christopher Paolini's tetralogy Eragon, Eldest, Brisinger, Empire..

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think that one the most amazing things I saw was the Grand Canyon, I'll never forget how I felt so insignificant compared to its greatness, vastness and emptiness.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can show people around the small town of Roznov where I grew up, but also around the city pf Brno, where I study. I like history and know a lot about the places, so I can give you a "tour" :)
I also love to cook, especially when there is someone to cook for, so I would be happy to prepare a meal if you host me or if I host you.
