About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Figure out what I want to do with my life and meet great people who might could help me to figure that out?
ABOUT ME
After a gorgeous and swift-paced 7 year montage of back-and-forth studies, work, and travels through the United States, Europe, North Africa, and then some, I've just recently returned to what I feel is my true "hometown" of Athens, Georgia, USA, and I couldn't be feeling more zen if you put the Buddha in front of me. I'm interested in literally everything - that doesn't mean that I LOVE literally everything (but then, I do love pretty much...everything); what it means is the greatest thing I know and love is to communicate and share any and every experience with all the beautiful souls there are out there. I love me some PEEPS.
I veer pretty steeply towards the "humanities," and I particularly dig writing/literature, music, visual arts, theater, cinema and videography, cuisine, and...FINE, I dig everything. I'm working on working on making work out of love. Does that make sense? It doesn't really to me either. That's why I'm still "working" on it. The goal is to make things that will make people want to move, whether physically or otherwise (I want to stay moving, too). Recently I've started sharing a studio outside of my house with some like-minded artists/writers/etcers, and it's become pretty clear that we're SHAKING UP THE TOWN, y'all. More to come, and I'm excited.
PHILOSOPHY
"Listen - I want to run all my life, screaming at the top of my lungs. Let all of life be an unfettered howl. Like the crowd greeting the gladiator. Don't stop to think, don't interrupt the scream, exhale, release life's rapture. Everything is blooming. Everything is flying. Everything is screaming, choking on its screams. Laughter. Running. Let-down hair. That's all there is to life."
Vladimir Nabokov

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I once was lucky enough to go from carrying my textbooks as I shuffled glumly through dead leaves in the Northern Hemisphere (Georgia) to, 12 hours later, savoring an alfajor cookie while taking in rays of sun through green green green Jacaranda trees in full bloom, in the Southern Hemisphere (in Buenos Aires, Argentina). It's one thing to change PLACES in the world within a matter of hours - it's another to change SEASONS within that same timeframe. It blows your mind.
