About Me
CURRENT MISSION
catching up on shut-eye in sleepy Vancouver
ABOUT ME
Freshly graduated from law school, I'm spending my articling year in Toronto, starting some semblance of professional adult life.
Born and bred in Vancouver, I've been living most recently in Montreal attending law school at McGill, with a small stint as a professional flaneur in Paris.
Gregarious and curious, I enjoy meeting new people, trading stories and learning on the way. I'm particularly interested in questions of identity, culture and language, and how they interact with some grounded notion of social justice.
When traveling, my preferred medium is directionless wandering through citystreets and conversations over a good meal. It would be great to meet up along the way!
PHILOSOPHY
The best test of a civilised society is the way in which it treats its most vulnerable and weakest members. (Mahatma Gandhi)
-------
Quoi d'étonnant si la prison ressemble aux usines, aux écoles, aux casernes, aux hôpitaux, qui ressemblent aux prisons ? (PoMo God)
-------
Art means nothing if it simply decorates the dinner table of the power which holds it hostage. (Adrienne Rich)
