About Me
I'm a recently graduated engineer who spent approximately half of the 4 last years working like crazy and the other half traveling, visiting, partying... well... also like crazy. A kind of living example of what this total stranger once said on the internet "I spend half of my days wondering if it's too late for coffee or too early for beer".
I am really easy-going, open-minded and love to discuss about almost anything. I am always motivated to do a bunch of varied stuff, from sports to board games, from a simple movie to playing Irish flute, although the result might not be guaranteed... I've also become a master in switching from desk to bar before you could say "beer". And I can provide references!
I spend a lot of time visiting and traveling, mostly cultural trips but also fun/sport ones. I love mountain and all related sports: skiing, hiking, climbing and mountaineering. I also intend to pass my pilot license soon, if my wallet and timetable allow it. And to finish, the most important: I can cook, and enjoy it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am moving to British Columbia and looking for places to stay (maximum 2 weeks) the time to find a longer-term rental, and a job. As I don't know anyone there, I am most of all looking for contacts and friends.
I hope to find someone who can lead me to the best places to see, people to meet and bars to forget about my boring job search! (and who knows, maybe job hints!)
I intend to take more than just a studio afterwards, to have some room to become a host.

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to Ska/Reggae/Ska-punk and more and more good folk music.
However I have way too many good movies in my head to put them all here so I'll just put the last 3 I've seen and enjoyed: Memento, Gone Girl and the Hateful eight (not my favorite Tarantino though)
I am not a huge reader but again, 3 books I am reading now: The pillars of the Earth, The man who loved dogs and The last hundred days.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Being rescued by a famous bawdy songs band member when my car broke in a parking (priceless night).
Also, an amazing 4-day high-rise mountain trek in the Rwenzori.
