Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think Couchsurfing is great way to travel. It provides the traveler (me) with a connection to a local, which I think is invaluable. I don't think you can truly experience a place until you meet the people who live there. At the same time, Couchsurfing provides an inexpensive way for a jobless traveler like myself to stay in places that I wouldn't otherwise be able to.
