About Me
I am a French student, doing a gap year this year ! So can't host for the moment, I don't live in Paris anymore, but look forward to the moment I can :)
I started my gap year in September biking in my own region in France, to meet actors of the socio-ecological transformation: farms, mayors, bike shops, and more.
On my gap year checklist, there is :
- Visiting my friends in Vienna (done, went in the end to Germany, Switzerland, Austria and the Netherlands 😆)
- Hitchhiking through Spain to Portugal and Morocco (January/February - done, it was amazing 👍🥰)
- Working on an alternative farm for a few months (Spring - everything ready)
- Finish writing my book on my first hitchhiking stories (first in French, then in English haha - still postponing it 🙌😭)
As you have already figured out, I care about nature, and I love it! You will probably find me growing vegetables in the middle of the Alps in ten years, but for now, I travel and discover what the world has to offer.
I love music, sport and cooking. I would love doing any - or all - of these with you :)
I mostly travel by hitchhiking (and a bit of collective transport), and I think that hitchhiking and couchsurfing are quite the same thing : get to know strangers with respect and humility, and try to go beyond each own's comfort zone by talking to people you would not otherwise.
This goes without saying, but I feel sadly it has to be said nonetheless: Couchsurfing is not for dating, and respect for others and their boundaries is non-negotiable. Thus, I am a safe space for everyone except for the intolerant : racists, sexists, homophobes, and their likes.
I look forward to meet you with loads of respect and laughs :)
À bientôt!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Every time I travelled with Couchsurfing or an equivalent, I had such a blast, it's always an adventure! Couchsurfing allows you not only to discover a culture from within, but also amazing people.
I can't imagine travelling without having a first hand contact with locals - be it with things like couchsurfing, hitchhiking, wwoofing or whatever.

Music, Movies, and Books
I fell in love with the Valse from Evgeny Grinko the first time I heard it (and I still do every time). If you do have a piano at home, I can play the beginning for you ;)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hitchhiking throughout the Alps in one day.
A romantic trip in Italy.
A photo session with a friend, on the roof of the European Parliament.
A February Greek (Italian and Spanish) holiday month.
Living in Vienna for a year, and travelling all year round. Spent an week in intensive care during that time as well.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am eager to teach what I know of cooking and of French language, and anything else you'd like to learn I could help on.
I hope we can both learn of each other's cultures, that's the way I see CS!
What I Can Share with Hosts
The best I can give you is my smile, but it's an honest one.
That usually comes with a delicious meal I cooked, but that's nothing.
