Hi everybody !!
My name is Quentin Reynaert, I am 23 years old, and I come from Les Landes, a region in the south-west of France.

After having validated my master of research on medieval history at the University of Bordeaux in June 2016, I decided, before to pass my exams to be a professor of history, to take advantage of these two next years in the aim to travelling, discovering new horizons, but among all the things, sharing and enriching myself humanely.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

After New Zealand, where I left for four months, I want to discover and visit Ireland for one month, from 22th March to 20th April, before embarking on the roads to Santiago de Compostela to the months May and June.

As I intend to complete the tour of Ireland in a month, while visiting the most remote places, I am quite hurried by time to achieve my goal. Also, I will not be able to stay more than two or three days in the same place, so that my passage will be very fast.
However, since I want to get close to Irish culture, I have preferred couchsurfing so that the Irish can offer me a bit of their daily life and make me discover their city.

Couchsurfing thus allows me to codify, in a rather short time, these important factors which constitute, for me, the very principle of a trip to a foreign country.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am a great music enthusiast, be it rock music from the 60s to the present, pop, soul, blues, jazz and classical music too. And of course the folk music.
Music is very important to me because it allows to convey or translate feelings, emotions that can be qualified with simple words.

As for literature or cinema, I have no particular preferences. I just want the scenario to interest me. I admit a preference for historical novels as well as historical films or series.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am young so I still have a lot to learn. But I especially want to learn, to build me culturally speaking, to enrich myself with the will of encounters, exchanges with different people.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Open-minded, I have no privileged themes or themes to avoid. You can tell a lot of things, once you have a good time together.

Perhaps, my practice of English can be a barrier, but rest assured I make myself understood and I speak a correct English.
