Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm about to go on a journey across South East Asia with a friend, so we will be looking for places to sleep and new people to meet! I'd love to learn more about local customs, food, way of living, discover beautiful places... And share all sorts of things with the people I meet! :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was in Chile with two friends. We were going to hike in a place called Pan de Azucar, it is a big, rocky desert next to the sea with breathtaking landscapes everywhere the eye goes. We had planned to hike all day long, but we didn't take anything to eat, and barely just enough water for one person, because we heard the site was very touristy and we could find everything we needed just at the entrance of the desert. Very clever! It was off season, so everything was closed. We ended up having no choice but to do 7 hours of hiking in the desert, without food and almost no water. And, very surprisingly, we survived!
