ABOUT ME

I'm originally from Hamburg, Germany, and have lived in the US, Canada and, most recently, London. After three years in the Big Smoke, I quit my job to work in wildlife conservation. I've since completed an MSc in Biodiversity Conservation and am now working for a small NGO in Bournemouth.

PHILOSOPHY

Difficult to answer this one without it sounding like a cliché, but I guess I'm a believer in "what goes around comes around".

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I do not currently have the ability to host people myself but would love to do so as soon as I have the set up for it. In the meantime, I'd love to meet up with fellow Couchsurfers/travellers in the Bournemouth/Poole area (or wherever else our paths may cross).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have stayed with some lovely people in Italy, France and Spain while interrailing in 2010, and with a lovely chap in Vancouver in the summer of 2015.

Interests

I love good books, quality US TV shows, trying new foods, meeting new people, having a random night out, and anything outdoorsy - hiking, cycling, or merely enjoying scenery. I don't think I need to highlight the fact that I love travelling and meeting new people!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've seen the Grand Canyon, which is as breathtaking as they say. I've also been to a Michael Jackson concert, and jumped off the highest commercial bungee bridge at Bloukrans, South Africa (or so they claim anyway)!
