ABOUT ME
I have plenty of hobbies but two of my favorite are music and photography. I like to discover new places and new friends.
I am also very interesting in the World: how it works (and what happen), in the economics, social and political fields. That's why I am working in the development area.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have met many couchsurfers thanks to my friend who introduced me to couchsurfing in 2008-2010. I did not have time to travel for some years but I took the opportunity of my first long train trip (from Istanbul to Paris) to discover surfing with CS. Since I can now host people, I start to host couchsurfers in Antananarivo this year.

Interests

I love music ( I play the synthetiseur, the trumpet in a jazz-funk band, I am fond of jazz & rock music). I also like just to go in the streets and take photos ! I am also interested in social sciences, international news, (modern) art, windsurfing/kitesurfing, ...

Music, Movies, and Books

I like poetry (Verlaine, Apollinaire, Prévert,...), but not only (Ionesco, Kourouma, ... ). I started reading travelling books and I enjoy it a lot (Ollivier, Albert Londres, Sylvain Tesson).

I love jazz (Miles Davis and his friends Coltrane, Adderley, Herbie Hancock or Wayne Shorter, Stan Getz, ...) and old school rock (Jimi Hendrix, Led Zep, David Bowie, Pink Floyd, ...). I also listen to other kinds of music, such as soul, funk, reggae.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

-the "catacombes" in Paris (the unofficial area, of course)
-the roundtrip of Corsica in a sailboat.
-other stories travelling in Madagascar
But I think tiny thinks can be "exceptionnal" if you look with fresh eyes.

Teach, Learn, Share

Well, I like to share both good music and photo with my friends and I can give you advice if you want to discover jazz ! I also like to speak about my experience in Africa. Last but not least, I really know the streets of Paris.
