About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To get things done, so I have a future!

ABOUT ME

Failte, fellow leprechauns! Chief mascot of our little island, one total weirdo and eccentric clampit. Main hobbies would be fiddle and motorcycling - I'm in the Institute of Advanced Motorists. I might move to the South permanently, if they qualify me as an instructor. (When I know I can do it, why would I wait another two years to keep the NI Exec happy?)

I'm coming to Dublin for a week in June; because I've been massively privileged to have been awarded a placement on the Supreme Court (I've just finished law school). For this reason, I'm more than happy to relax with my very kind host(s) in the evenings, or at the weekend.

Even if you can host me two nights, that would be great - a week is a little much to ask.

PHILOSOPHY

Get things done, do them well, and as best you can. You get out what you put in ;-)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I don't always have a bed to lend - my roommates are not keen on the idea. Showing you around is on the cards :)

Couchsurfing isn't for reading profiles. It's about enjoying new friends in person - your host/guest. This is why my profile is concise. I only expect you to spend a few minutes max - on my profile.

I approach other profiles in the same fashion. I briefly read it, then decide whether to request. If I request, it will be addressed personally. If I neglected to mention a 'password' in your profile, you probably are not for me.

Detailed study of profiles isn't what CS was meant for. I prefer to meet people, and it is potential hosts who have my undivided attention :-)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Only once before, actually. I'm a reasonably early starter. That was to a very kind bloke in Galway - who even gave me a lift the five miles to Salthill. There, I began to get over my stammer, at long last.

Interests

Music, biking, any kind of knowledge or information you can be nearly guarantee will be in my head. Near photographic memory.

Music, Movies, and Books

Films: Action. LOVE action. Rush Hour, Fast & Furious are best (or anything with Jackie Chan to it). For a long time, I never really understood storylines, so it was just far more fun to watch car chases and things getting blown up ;-)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Unicycle hockey is incredible and hilarious. You should see it some time. I mean exactly that, as ice hockey involves ice-skating, unicycle hockey involves unicycling around. It's ridiculously fantastic.
