ABOUT ME

I am an American student who's been studying abroad in France this semester, searching this country and this continent for as many adventures as I can find.

I'm a quite person, often preferring to observe the world around me rather than participate in it, though I completely appreciate the value of good conversation (especially with close friends and several bottles of wine). I simply love to watch the beauty of the world.

Truthfully, I've spent a lot of time experiencing life from a distance -- whether from behind a camera lens or in a book -- but now I'm really learning what it is to live. Though my camera still comes with me everywhere I travel.

Interests

My greatest passion is photography. I've taken my camera with me all around Europe and have tried to selfishly take for myself a little bit of it's beauty. Not quite sure if I'm capable, but I try.

I also love reading, making lovely clothes, picnics, driving with friends, beach bonfires, baking, vintage shopping, maps, throwing themed parties, and the French language.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Was treated to an enormous and delicious dinner by two Syrian antiques smugglers in a very old and classic restaurant in Damascus.
