ABOUT ME

My name is William Canet. I'm 33 years old.
I enjoy randomness, which always leads to the best adventures .
Friends are everything. Life would not be worth living if you couldn't share it with someone. For example: when you catch that perfect wave (I'm a southern California surfer) and you look back to your friend and go "dude, did you see that?" That small celebration is the best feeling in the world.
I play a little acoustic guitar, mainly to procrastinate chores.
I currently work as a captain for private yachts.
Previous Jobs: EMT-Paramedic, FireFighter, San Diego Police Department Traffic controller, United States Navy Sailor/Corpsman...also known as "DOC" I worked with a marine unit as a combat medic/corpsman.

Living in San Diego has been great.
Each adventure depends on the time of year.

I've done a little couch surfing myself and find it 100% rewarding. I just want to give back what I experienced...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hitchhiked across America. From San Diego, California to New York, New York. I was able to couch surf a couple of times along the way...It was a lot of fun and the culture exchange you gain along the way opens your eyes...I went to places an ordinary traveler would never see..I am doing everything possible to promote this project..I would highly recommend couch surfing to anyone...

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I have stayed with apache indians, parting with them through old time dance... while in my tent on the chattahochi river, I woke up with three 7 foot alligators 50 feet from me ... I have jumped from 50 foot high cliffs into the east china sea and done night dives in okinawan caves... I have gone swimming with whale sharks, gone kite boarding in the middle of the pacific ocean...Many more stories to share!!
