Edinburgh resident and poetry scene participant.

I really like making stuff, but especially art and cups of tea. I'm very keen on all sorts of tea and biscuits.

Seeing a cat can cheer me up.

I'm keen on feminism and critical of capitalism and commercialism.

PHILOSOPHY

Add something beautiful to the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Happy to meet up with people in town and give out local knowledge.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfed in Amsterdam, Prague, Vienna and Italy.

Unofficial couch-surfing experience when I was hitch-hiking to Amsterdam with a friend and a nice guy who was giving us a lift took us in for the night. It was midnight and there weren't any 24 hour service stations around those parts, so I don't know what else we'd have done.

Also couchsurfed a couple of time in the UK and hosted once.

Have also relied on the kindness of friends or hosts, sleeping on peoples floors or sofas in the UK in order to A: make short films or B: rehearse for and take part in a show at the Edinburgh Fringe. By now I feel I'm quite good at getting along with people. :)

Interests

Drawing, painting, writing - all kinds of transforming the world through art.
I also like seeing stuff: places, people, an interesting leaf. Stuff.
Happy to learn new things.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Running into the North Sea at dawn on the 1st of May with a beach full of other St Andrews students.

I took part in an event where I had to draw a 24 page comic in 24 hours. No planning. Finished, exhausted but proud.

The sea. It's always impressive. As are the flames flickering in a bonfire.

I can recite a poem about two people who eat too much at a picnic.
