After I climbed one of the main sites in Paris, de Arc de Triomphe there were buildings as far as the eye could reach. The town was so enormous compared to what I'm used to!

In Surinam, we took a tour into the jungle. At an open area on a hill we had a view of a lake in the middle of the jungle, completely cut off from the outside world
