About Me

I just graduated high school in June and spent the summer working and visiting family and friends. I want to become a nurse, but I needed a break from school for a year so I decided to take a trip to Europe. I always loved learning about the history that Europe holds, from the Roman Empire, to the Industrial revolution. I want to try to visit as many historical sites as possible and on my adventure I want to meet new people that share similar interests! I love to laugh and I like to try and make other people laugh too.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to meet people. It's a simple as that. I have lived on an island for most of my life and there aren't a lot of people there so I have grown to not be very social. Over the years I have slowly come out of my shell and I want to keep doing so by pushing the boundaries my comfort zone. Me joining CS and going to live with new people is my next step in my journey.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My junior year of High school, I went abroad to China to study art and history with a few other students from my school. While we were there, we visited local high schools and joined some of their classes. We also went to the Great Wall of China, the Forbidden City, and the Heaven Temple. The food was amazing and I couldn't have enough of it! We lived in Chongqing for most of the trip so we got to explore a lot of the city. I met so many great people and a lot of them became my good friends!

Teach, Learn, Share

With me being a very hands on person, I know a little bit about jewelry making and forging.

I recently started learning horseback riding and surfing and I would jump at the opportunity to do either again! But over all I love trying new things no matter what!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my experiences with my other adventures and I'm also learning how to cook from recipe books so I could also prepare food.
