Overview
About Me
Hello my name is Quinn! I'm a recent graduate from UC Berkeley with a degree in English and a minor in Journalism. Originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, I've chosen to kick off a year-long adventure beginning in Australia, following the completion of my studies. I've spent the last couple months working in hostels in the Agnes Water/1770 area and was looking for something new.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on Couchsurfing to connect with diverse individuals, share experiences, and create meaningful connections. It's an opportunity to learn about different cultures, make new friends, and foster a sense of global community.
Interests
I'm truly passionate about film, and my long-term goal is to carve out a career in the film industry. While I'm still exploring which specific path to take, the idea of being on a film set is nothing short of a dream come true for me.
l love animals and have lots of experience in dog sitting.
Back in Wisconsin, my mom has a beautiful garden, and whenever I visit, I spend lots of time there, cherishing the beauty of the outdoors.
Furthermore, I have an unwavering enthusiasm for travel and a strong desire to explore more of the world. So far, my adventures have taken me to remarkable places like Costa Rica, England, El Salvador, Greece, Spain, France, and Australia. These experiences have only fueled my passion for discovering new cultures and broadening my horizons.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music - I love music. My Spotify wrapped for 2023 last year said that my top artists were Alex G, Lucki, Izaya Tiji, DJ Screw, and Vegyn. I always love new suggestions and hearing what other people are into.
Film - I am also very into movies. I love going to the movie theater back home. My favorite films are probably The Royal Tenenbaums, The Lighthouse, Rango, Nacho Libre, and Triangle of Sadness. I'd also love to hear about your favorites!
Books - I definitely don’t read enough but I want to work on that while I’m traveling so I am definitely open to recommendations. My favorite book when I was younger was “Danny the Champion of the World” by Roald Dahl
