About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I refuse to die an unlived life.
ABOUT ME
I love life, and love spending time with people. I love hosting and cooking for people, making them laugh and making them smile. We were all put on this earth to shine a light by which to brighten others' days.
I am very difficult to make angry, and always endeavor to be happy. Life is full of challenges and risks and these are the things in life that make us who we are. I have learned to love the challenges and risks. I seek to never complain and always try to make people's lives better.
PHILOSOPHY
People preform better when they are happy. There is no point staking your happiness on something in the future. You will make your goals more attainable if your first goal is personal authentic happiness. Stay hungry, stay foolish.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I hosted a few times while I had a house in Canada. I hope to host again when I have another location. I am currently locationless though, so we'll see!
I love to give back.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I couch surfed in Austria with Roland Kloss before I actually had joined the site. My partner Jane and I had an amazing time with him seeing Graz and Vienna! After that, we joined!
I have hosted a few CSers in my time in Kamloops. I hope that the world will help me out now that I am setting out on the road.
Interests
I love tabletop gaming and social gaming experiences. Board games, D&D, MTG and all that stuff. I am also interested in adventure. I have had a pretty sedentary time while in university and I am ready for that to change! I also want to find ways to give back in life. I haven't found how I want to yet, but I know I want to.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love music. I have a wide range of tastes. I love folk, rock, heavy metal, reggae, electronic, classical. I don't really listen to rap or hip hop or country... but some of it is good! I don't watch a lot of movies unless I am with people. I love reading. University didn't permit me to read too much non-uni material but I love fantasy, biographies of great people, history, books on science, literature, and so much more.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I went to Jasper National Park in Alberta, Canada we went up the Whistler's Mountain tram. I am not so good with heights, I continually go up them, and scare the living daylights out of myself. When I got to the top of that tram and got to look out from the top of the mountain it was breathtaking. Absolutely fantastic.
The fear that goes along with heights is something that gets me every time. My love of old world architecture and castles and keeps and such combines well with this. While living in England we went to Dover castle and went to the top of the keep on a beautiful sunny day. Standing upon the battlements and gazing across the English channel and just imagining all of the time when that must have been a less placid experience for people in the past was exciting.
