ABOUT ME

A little about me huh??? Well, I work for an airline and traveling is my number one hobby. I tend to work a lot and work long hours, so when the day is done it is time to PLAY!!! Either out with friends or traveling around the world, I try to live every moment like it wont be there tomorrow. Besides traveling, I love playing sports, learning new drinking games, and meeting new people to hear about their lifestyle and culture.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe you cant understand a country until you have tried the food, drank the local brew, played a drinking game, and kissed a local girl.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I participate in CS as much as possible. My cousin and roomate turned me onto couch surfing years ago and I feel in love with it. I never hosted until moving in with them 2 years ago when I moved to Chicago for work and am so thankful that I have had the oppertunity to do so. Having a local host has been a huge reason that my travels have been so much fun, that hosting when I am home makes me feel like I am helping to create a great trip for another.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first CS experience was not the best. I was traveling with my cousin who turned me onto the site and told me how great it was. Well, my first memory is that the host never answered his phone and we were stuck in Munich during Oktoberfest trying to find a place to stay. Since the first time though, CS has opened my eyes to another world. The people and cultures I have experienced have helped mold me into the man I am today. Without CS, I would have missed so much and not even known about it.

Interests

Meeitng new people, traveling, playing sports (soccer, football, baseball, dogeball), learning other cultures drinking games, and learning how the rest of the world works
