About Me
ABOUT ME
Greetings!
I'm a builder, designer, artist, musician, and entrepreneur. Just like most couchsurfers I would assume, I live for the experience of meeting new people, and exploring new places, although my travels up to this point in time have been somewhat limited. I am very open to new ideas and culture. I greatly enjoy quality food, beer/wine, coffee, music, and many other simple pleasures in life. I love the outdoors, and grew up in a rural area fishing/hunting/camping/etc, however I thoroughly enjoy urban living as well. I am very social, and look forward to crossing paths with you!
PHILOSOPHY
I have come to realize that one of the most important things in life is our relationships. That is what it comes down to. Whether it be financial success, spiritual awakening, or physical health, it can all be linked back to our relationships with the people in our lives. With friends, family, lovers, ourselves, and acquaintances. I believe healthy relationships foster personal growth and happiness.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have not surfed much myself yet, but I have hosted some on my own. For a couple years I lived with a friend, and we hosted surfers all the time; at least once a month, and sometimes much more often. I wish I had been more diligent about my profile then; but alas, I was not, so I didn't connect with a lot of the friends/travelers we hosted. I look forward to the opportunity to become a more integral part of this community.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
The experiences I have had as a host have been amazing. I met/hosted people from all over the world, and had many great exchanges. Many nights of story telling, food sharing, and music playing. There were a few times when certain guests "out-stayed there welcome", and were asked(kindly) to continue their journey, but for the most part, people have been conscientious and respectful.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of the most amazing things I've ever done was go hang gliding. It is definitely my destiny to learn to fly. There is nothing else like it.
Teach, Learn, Share
I know a lot about construction and design, and enjoy teaching people about either one.
I am hoping to improve my Spanish. That is one thing I could always use help with learning.
