Hey there! My name is Quino, and I am happy (rather optimistic) and easygoing lad from Málaga, Spain, who is willing to learn more about cultures around the world.
As of now, I work as Software Engineer, which I pretty much enjoy; however, I also enjoy knowing about other proffesions. Who knows, maybe I like something so much I consider changing careers!

My languages of preference are English and Spanish (mother tongue), and I am currently learning Portuguese. I happen to speak some Italian, and I'm also keen to learn any other as well.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I started using CouchSurfing in 2017, while I was doing Erasmus. My experience with the community meetings here and there around central Europe showed me this app gives a great opportunity to meet locals and expats alike.

Now, as of 2023, I'm willing to give it a go for meeting nice people while I'm traveling while working remotely.

Interests

During my free time, I really enjoy doing some sports. As of late, I'm hooked on yoga and beach volleyball, which I like to practice regularly. However, I also enjoy biking, hiking, and snorkeling.

In the past I've also participated in IT community meetups as organizer.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am a keen music listener. I really love listening to some jazz rythms and lo-fi beats, though I'm into the indie music most of the time. However, I'm also up for some rap, techno or flamenco playlists too.
